This is a 45 year old woman who wears a 40DDD bra, with various symptoms caused by her large heavy breasts. Patient states she gets upper back pain, neck strain, notching in shoulders from bra straps, and chronic rashes under the folds of the breasts. During consultation, all symptoms were documented and a letter was written to patient's health insurance to obtain Preauthorization for a breast reduction. Insurance approved the surgery. Patient was very pleased with her new 40C bra size and symptoms started improving almost immediately following surgery.
