by Mary Moynihan To celebrate one of my favourite eras of beauty, I’m going to be looking at my favourite 70s makeup trends. I’m excited to share with you some of my favourite makeup looks from the 70s alongside some amazing modern takes on trends such as pastels, dramatic art-deco revival looks and glossy red lips. Soft pastels My love of pastels is a big part of what draws me to 70s beauty. When I think of 70s makeup, the first look that comes to mind is a single colour pastel eyeshadow and soft blush with defined lashes and minimal liner. These adorable early 70s Mary Quant and Yardley London ads perfectly encapsulate the kitchy and dream-like aesthetic that I love about 70s style.
